Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an experienced Sommelier in Dubai to lead wine selections, storage and service. The successful candidate will manage purchasing, stocking and selling wine, and ensure proper wine presentation at events with informed customer guidance.

The role emphasizes excellent guest service, strong communication, and a passion for wine culture. Salary is 1400 AED per month with performance bonuses possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sommelier.
• Knowledge of wine culture and trends.
• Ability to suggest wine pairings with dishes.
• Experience in selecting, purchasing, stocking and selling wine.
• Knowledge of proper wine storage and aroma/flavor identification.

Responsibilities

• Select, purchase, stock, organize and sell wine.
• Manage wine inventory and ensure availability for events.
• Offer appropriate wine options during events.
• Interact with customers in an informed manner to enhance dining experience.
