You will guide guests with detailed wine information, offer expert pairings, and develop relationships with suppliers while planning special wine tastings or dinners to showcase regional or varietal wines.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining restaurant or hotel.
• Advanced knowledge of classic and modern wines from around the world.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service.

We are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining an outstanding wine list, developing and executing wine-related events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Description: The Sommelier will be the primary wine specialist of the establishment, responsible for selecting, purchasing, receiving, and serving all wine products. The Sommelier will also be expected to maintain appropriate inventory levels and make sure all beverages are stored securely in accordance with food safety standards. On a daily basis, the Sommelier will provide customers with detailed information about wines including tasting notes, pairings, vintage information, and product origin. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to develop relationships with suppliers in order to stay informed about new products on the market. Additionally, the Sommelier may be asked to plan special events such as tastings or dinners showcasing a particular region or type of wine.

Requirements for Candidate:

• At least three years of experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining restaurant or hotel
• Advanced knowledge of classic and modern wines from around the world
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
