Job summary

Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage purchasing for solar and wind projects, ensuring timely and compliant operations and delivering long-term value. You will lead RFQ development, supplier selection, bid evaluations and logistics sourcing while coordinating with legal, technical, and project teams to meet schedules.

Based in Abu Dhabi, the role requires MBA or equivalent Master’s degree and 5–7 years of renewable energy procurement

Qualifications

• MBA or relevant Master’s degree from a top-tier internationally recognized higher education institution.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or finance or related field.
• 5-7 years experience in purchasing/procuring main equipment for renewable energy projects.
• 2-3 years of experience in renewable energies EPC works.
• Knowledge of renewable energy and traditional energy industry; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize purchasing processes and operations for renewables projects.
• Negotiate terms, manage contracts and POs in line with policies and timelines.
• Monitor service levels, ensure fair procurement to suppliers, and bid evaluations.
• Prepare RFQs for main equipment; consolidate comments from technical and commercial teams.
• Float RFQs to OEMs, obtain quotations, and coordinate clarifications with internal teams.
• Lead supply contract negotiations, safe documentation, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with legal, contract and technical teams on term sheets and final contracts.
• Develop material cost forecasts and qualification processes for main equipment factories.
