Job summary

TALENTMATE is seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer for Abu Dhabi to lead testing on embedded aviation software. The role focuses on complying with RTCA DO-178C in safety-critical environments and overseeing the testing lifecycle from planning to defect resolution.

You will mentor teams on test automation, CI practices, and continuous QA improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust integration and validation of avionics systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing for embedded systems in the aerospace or defence industry.
• DO-178C standards and regulatory compliance required.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and procedures.
• Proficient with test automation tools; Rapita Verification Suite experience preferred.
