Job summary

The-Code is looking for an experienced Senior Software QA & Testing Engineer to take ownership of software quality across our AI-native products and platforms.

The role is based in Egypt, working remotely with our teams in Dubai.

This is a hands-on senior role for someone with strong experience in software testing, test automation, API testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, and production readiness.

The successful candidate will work closely with software engineers, AI engineers, and product teams to establish comprehensive testing practices, identify issues early, automate critical test scenarios, and ensure our products meet a high standard of quality, reliability, performance, and usability before release.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 3-10 years of progressive experience in Software QA and Testing, demonstrating a strong track record as an Experienced professional.
• Technical Acumen: Profound understanding of Computer Science and Information Technology (IT) fundamentals, coupled with hands-on experience in Software Development and Software Engineering principles.
• Testing Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in various testing methodologies, including Test Automation, Performance Testing, Security Testing, and API Testing.
• Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with industry-standard QA tools such as JIRA for defect management and Selenium for automated testing.
• Database Skills: Solid command of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Methodology: Proven experience working within Agile Methodologies, contributing effectively to sprint cycles and continuous integration.
• Problem-Solving Prowess: Exceptional Problem Solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and propose effective solutions.
