Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality efforts across mobile apps and backend APIs in Abu Dhabi. You will shape testing strategies, drive automation using Appium and PyTest, and ensure end-to-end quality for complex, high-availability services.

The role requires 5–7 years of QA experience, strong API/mobile testing skills, and a proven ability to design scalable automation frameworks and coordinate with development, product, and business teams before releases.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance/testing.
• Strong experience in mobile application testing across supported platforms and devices.
• Strong knowledge of API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in manual, functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Appium and PyTest.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD test integration.
• Experience in performance, scalability, stress, and load testing.
• Strong defect identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution skills.
• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect trend analysis.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with development, product, and business teams.
• Experience ensuring quality gates and QA sign-off before production releases.
• Ability to prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and release readiness documentation.
