Job summary
AIQ in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on technical lead to own RoboWell APC, the autonomous execution layer of its production platform. You will shape the edge controller's software architecture and drive field deployments, interfacing with DCS/SCADA and the IT layer.

Qualifications
- MSc or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 8+ years building software for autonomous/control systems.
- Strong MPC / constrained-optimisation background.
- Expert C++ (C++17+) and Python on Linux.
- Experience with industrial protocols and edge deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement MPC / constrained-optimisation controllers.
- Build supervisory logic: envelopes, limits, mode management.
- Translate constraints with engineers; define KPIs.
- Own edge software architecture for real-well deployment.
- Implement IEC 62443 compliant security and cyber-ops.
- Lead field pilots, tuning, and hand-over to operations.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and documentation for the edge.
