Job summary

Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape the software backbone for propulsion and flight-vehicle research. You will productize components, APIs and tooling for multiple programmes, ensuring reusable, scalable releases.

Work with physics and model teams, lead code reviews and drive CI/CD, HIL integration and modern frontend/backend stacks (Python/FastAPI, React) on Linux.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of production-grade software experience.
• Experience in numerical, scientific or engineering software.
• Proven full lifecycle ownership, releases and maintenance.
• Strong API design and modern frontend/backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Evolve software platform into reusable product across programmes.
• Lead backend/frontend development using Python/FastAPI and React.
• Drive CI/CD, release engineering and containerized deployments.
• Develop and maintain test-evidence pipelines and APIs.
