Job summary

STAR Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Software Developer & Analyst to maintain, enhance, and lead the development of our software platform (VSRM). The role emphasizes full-stack development, cloud architecture, and mobile app work with modern DevOps practices.

You will design and deliver scalable solutions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality software and robust APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong background in cloud-based and containerized apps.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the VSRM/PoolCar platform and its components.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new software using current stack.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Ensure code quality via reviews and unit tests.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Document architecture, processes, and guides.
• Integrate Google Maps, Firebase, and NOLS APIs.
• Mentor junior developers.
