• Support translation of client communications strategies into practical social media content pillars and posting plans.
• Develop platform-specific content plans reflecting client objectives and tone of voice.
• Map content formats, posting cadence, key moments, and activation timelines for campaigns.
• Prepare recommendations based on performance trends and platform updates.
• Ensure day-to-day content delivery aligns with strategy and objectives.
• Draft clear English and Arabic captions in line with messaging and tone.
• Schedule and publish content across X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Coordinate with creative team to review and finalize visuals and assets.
• Support community management by monitoring engagement and escalating issues.
• Monitor trends and conversations to identify opportunities for clients.
• Provide live coverage during client events with updates and coordination.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports highlighting insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with paid media on campaign setup and performance tracking.
• Support influencer outreach, including research and coordination.
• Maintain trackers for approvals, schedules, and reporting deadlines.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive, Social Media to support the day-to-day delivery of client social media activities under the guidance of an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. In this role, you will assist with content planning, translate campaign and communication strategies into effective social media execution, draft English and Arabic social copy, coordinate creative assets, and schedule and publish approved content. You will also support community management, monitor social channels, prepare performance reports, and contribute to the implementation of organic, paid, and influencer-led campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:

Social Media Account Management:

• Support the translation of client communications strategies, campaign plans and key messages into practical social media content pillars, themes and posting plans.
• Assist in developing platform-specific content plans that reflect client objectives, audience needs, channel best practices and agreed tone of voice.
• Contribute to campaign planning by helping map content formats, posting cadence, key moments, creative requirements and supporting activation timelines.
• Support the preparation of social media recommendations based on performance trends, platform updates, competitor activity and audience engagement patterns.
• Help ensure day-to-day content delivery remains aligned with the approved strategy, campaign objectives and broader account direction.
• Draft clear and engaging English and Arabic captions in line with client messaging, campaign objectives and agreed tone of voice.
• Schedule and publish approved content across platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Coordinate with APCO’s creative team to brief, review and finalize visuals, videos, stories and other social media assets.
• Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, mentions and engagement activity, escalating sensitive queries where required.
• Monitor social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity and relevant conversations to identify content opportunities and inform tactical recommendations for clients.
• Provide live social media coverage during client events, including real-time updates, Instagram Stories and coordination with the wider account team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, insights and practical recommendations to improve future content and campaign delivery.
• Coordinate with the paid media team on campaign setup, asset requirements, content alignment and performance tracking.
• Support influencer outreach for selected client campaigns, including research, shortlisting, coordination and follow-up.
• Maintain organized trackers for content approvals, posting schedules, campaign deliverables and reporting deadlines.

AD HOC ASSIGNMENTS/REPORTS:

• As requested by the direct manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications or a related agency/client-service environment.
• Experience supporting content calendars, social media publishing, reporting and community management is preferred.
• Exposure to social media planning, campaign implementation or content strategy support is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong English and Arabic writing skills, with the ability to adapt copy for different platforms and audiences.

• Some travel may be required.
• Must reside in Dubai or be willing to relocate.
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and as allowed by local regulations.
