CPX Security's Security Operations Centre seeks a Senior Security Analyst to lead security monitoring, analyze logs, and respond to incidents while strengthening the overall security program across CPX and client environments.

The role requires strong incident response knowledge, collaboration across teams, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced security team. A background in SIEM, threat intel, and cross-functional communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Information Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in security operations, incident response, or threat monitoring.
• Experience with Windows/Linux/Unix, NIDS/HIDS, and SIEM (Splunk).
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and security monitoring best practices.

Responsabilités

• Validate incidents escalated by Tier 1 SOC Analysts.
• Perform second level validation of threats and assess impact on services.
• Research, analyze, and correlate data across diverse datasets.
• Provide recommendations for incident handling and monitoring improvements.
• Identify weaknesses in software, hardware, and networks.
• Communicate threats to stakeholders and validate network alerts.
• Analyze log files and evidence to identify attacker methods.
• Characterize network traffic to detect anomalies and threats.
• Monitor external data sources to tune SIEM content, reports and dashboards.
