Job summary

SOCOPAC is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor threats, investigate incidents, and strengthen security controls. You will focus on fast detection and response, reducing vulnerabilities, and maintaining audit-ready compliance.

You will perform SIEM/SOC monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat modeling, while working with WAF/EDR tools and conducting thorough investigations.

Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM/SOC monitoring and incident response.
• Ability to conduct forensics and investigations.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of network and web security fundamentals.
• Experience using security tooling such as WAF and EDR.
• Analytical and investigative thinking with attention to detail.
• Clear, concise incident communication under pressure.
• Capable of solving problems quickly in demanding scenarios.
