Job summary

CPX is seeking a SOC Lead Engineer, SIEM to provide technical leadership for SIEM architecture and operations across diverse environments and customers.

You will guide senior and junior engineers, oversee SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, LogRhythm, QRadar, FortiSIEM) and CRIBL log collection, and participate in pre-sales licensing estimations. Reporting to the Senior SOC Engineering & Architecture Manager, this role requires a decade of SIEM experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SIEM and SOC operations
• Experience in SIEM management and architecture leadership
• Proven leadership in SOC or cybersecurity environments

Responsibilities

• Lead technical operations and management of SIEM tools across multiple platforms
• Oversee log collection health focusing on CRIBL
• Manage SIEM licenses, forecasting usage and renewals
• Develop logging standards across customers and systems
• Provide mentorship to SOC engineers
• Contribute to pre-sales estimations of SIEM licenses and architectures
• Report SIEM services and license management to stakeholders
