Job summary

CPX is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to lead security monitoring, incident response, and overall SecOps initiatives within CPX/Client technology. You will analyze diverse log sources, validate escalated incidents, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen security programs.

The role requires deep knowledge of threat analysis, SIEM tools, and a proactive, cross-functional security mindset in a fast-paced environment in Abu Dhabi. Strong communication and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing security logs to identify trends and root causes.
• Proficient in Windows, Linux, and Unix security concepts.
• Experience with SIEM alerts and incident response workflows.

Responsibilities

• Validate incidents escalated by Tier 1 SOC analysts.
• Assess threats and determine impact on services and information.
• Research, analyze, and correlate data from multiple sources.
• Provide recommendations for incident handling and monitoring improvements.
• Identify weaknesses in software, hardware, and networks.
• Communicate threats to stakeholders and coordinate response.
• Validate network alerts with relevant teams.
• Analyze logs, evidence, and memory to identify attackers.
• Characterize network traffic to detect anomalous activity.
• Maintain and tune SIEM content, reports, and dashboards.
