Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong spreadsheet skills.
• 4–6 years SME underwriting experience in loans, trade, or working capital.
• Written and spoken English – Arabic preferred.
• Good understanding of banking operations, policies, guidelines, and market conditions.
• Hands-on experience in financial analysis, cashflow assessment, and trade cycles.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite SME credit proposals for standard and moderately complex cases across business loans, trade & working capital, and secured lending.
• Analyze borrower financials to support assessment of cashflows, repayment capacity, leverage, and working capital cycles.
• Evaluate cash conversion cycle, receivable/payable ageing, and inventory turnover.
• Perform validation of financials and data using bank statements, audited financials, and scorecard inputs.
• Prepare structured credit notes with clear recommendations and ensure adherence to policies and SLA.
