Job summary

EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy in Dubai is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to supervise civil and structural works on site. The role focuses on maintaining quality, coordinating between design teams, contractors, and authorities, and ensuring compliance with approved designs and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree and at least five years of site experience, with strong QA/QC capabilities and familiarity with RC, piling, and steel structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years construction site experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for clients and management.
• Act as main liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Review and approve drawings, submittals, work programs, and shop drawings.
• Ensure construction activities comply with designs, specs, and regulations.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections for RC, piling, post-tension slabs, precast, and steel structures.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, architectural, and interior teams for smooth execution.
• Manage contractor resources, review RFIs, and issue site instructions and NCRs.
• Review progress bills and assist in evaluating variations and claims with the commercial team.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE and environmental standards on-site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation according to company procedures.
