Job summary

EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy seeks an experienced Site Engineer in Dubai to lead civil and structural site supervision, quality control, and project coordination. The role emphasizes ensuring works meet approved designs, specifications and safety requirements.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree and at least five years of construction field experience, with strong coordination skills across structural, MEP, architectural, and interior teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a Civil Engineering degree and related courses.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction field.
• Experience in supervising civil and structural works is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for clients and management.
• Be the main point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Review and approve drawings, submittals, work programs, and shop drawings.
• Ensure construction activities meet approved designs, specs and authority regulations.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections for structural and civil works (RC, piling, post-tension slabs, precast, steel).
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, architectural, and interior teams for project execution.
• Manage contractor resources, review RFIs, and issue site instructions and NCRs.
• Review progress bills and support in evaluating variations and claims with commercial team.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE and environmental standards on-site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation per company procedures.
