Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Site Supervisor/Engineer to oversee villa renovation activities on-site in Dubai. You will ensure work aligns with drawings and method statements, monitor progress, and report delays.

You will supervise contractors and ensure adherence to quality control procedures while maintaining site safety. The role requires coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants, identifying issues, and proposing practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven site engineering experience in UAE.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and authority approvals in Dubai/UAE.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities related to the villa renovation project.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the approved drawings specifications and method statements.
• Monitor the progress of work against the project schedule and report any delays or issues promptly.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors subcontractors and site laborers.
• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials.
• Provide technical clarifications and resolve site-related issues in a timely manner.
• Liaise with design team architects structural engineers MEP consultants to clarify design details and ensure proper implementation on-site.
• Identify potential technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Assist in the development and review of project schedules and work programs.
• Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials on-site.
• Plan and coordinate site meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication with the project manager contractors and other stakeholders.
