Job summary

Acwa Power is seeking a Shift Charge Engineer to oversee all shift operations in a water desalination and power plant. You will monitor performance, provide engineering support, and ensure safe, efficient production while coordinating with maintenance and planning teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 8 years in relevant plants with 2 years in supervision, SAP knowledge, and strong planning skills. IMS system familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations to meet production targets and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.
• Monitor plant performance and provide operations engineering support during the shift.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely execution of shift activities.
• Administer SAP processes for planning, scheduling, maintenance notifications and work orders.
• Lead emergency responses and ensure HSSE compliance during the shift.
• Review SOPs and procedures; implement improvements for efficiency.
