Job summary

SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAUL.L.C is seeking an experienced Operations Lead for Abu Dhabi's power generation and water production facilities. The role requires overseeing equipment operations, coordinating shift activities, and ensuring smooth handovers to relievers while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and brings 10+ years in modern CCGT and desalination plants, with experience in DCS/PLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or higher in the relevant area.
• Minimum ten years of operational experience in modern CCGT and desalination plants.
• Experience in DCS and PLC systems is preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Controls and supervises the operations of all equipment related to power generation and water production.
• Receives and hands over information to the incoming reliever in an orderly manner.
• Directs, supervises and coordinates activities of operation and maintenance personnel on shift.
• Leads the morning Production Meeting and participates in daily work planning meetings.
• Cooperates with the preparation of the Production budget.
• Engages in Site, Regional, and Corporate initiatives.

Job description

Job Requirements

• Leads the morning Production Meeting and participates in daily work planning meetings.
• Cooperates with the preparation of the Production budget.
• Engages in Site, Regional, and Corporate initiatives.
