Job summary

ACWA NOMAC is seeking a seasoned Control Room Operator to monitor and control power and water unit operations from the plant control room, ensuring steady state and meeting production targets in line with work instructions and HSSE standards.

The role requires a Technical Diploma in Engineering and at least 5 years of control room experience in power or desalination plants, with strong knowledge of DCS/SCADA/PLC, HSE, and team mentoring.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5 years’ experience in control room operations in power or water desalination units.
• Ability to work in shifts and maintain safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned unit from the control panel and adjust operating conditions and flows.
• Maintain logs and handover notes for seamless communication across shifts.
• Provide on-the-job training to junior team members.
