Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank is seeking an experienced Settlement Specialist to monitor and process settlements across domestic, regional and international markets, validate instructions, and ensure timely matching.

You will reconcile positions, cash and FX transactions, elevate discrepancies, and handle client and counterparty communications. The role includes first-level training of new specialists and contributing to system upgrades and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years related work experience.
• 5+ years in security services or back-office operations.
• Understanding of securities settlements and corporate actions
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking under pressure
• Excellent communication and team working skills

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and processing of settlement across domestic, regional and international markets
• Validate instructions and ensure timely matching and settlement across markets
• Handle client, counterparty and sub-custodian communications on settlement matters
• Reconcile positions, cash and FX transactions and elevate discrepancies
• Provide first-level training to new specialists
• Support projects, system upgrades and process improvements
