Job summary

Excelsior is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to oversee maintenance, installation and commissioning of security systems in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role involves hands-on work with cameras, DVR/NVR, switches and boundary detection solutions, plus software and network systems setup.

You will report to the line supervisor and handle project tasks as required. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance/planned preventive maintenance as scheduled by the line supervisor.
• Inspect and clean equipment including cameras, DVR/NVR, switches and boundary detection solution (PIDs) according to the SOP and drawings.
• Identify and, when approved, repair faults found on maintenance visits.
• Setup and commissioning of high-level security system hardware.
• Commissioning and testing of security systems.
• Installation and commissioning of software and networking systems.
• Report daily to the line supervisor.
• Submit timely working reports, expenses and vehicle mileage sheets when requested.
• Handle installation and commissioning of special projects as and when assigned.
