Job summary

Whitehall Resources is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to oversee a SAP transformation for a Dubai-based client. You will act as the internal client-side lead, holding the SI accountable and driving governance using the SAP Activate framework.

Responsibilities include leading the client-side PMO, applying SAP Activate across Explore, Realize, Deploy and Run, and managing co-existence between Oracle EBS and SAP while controlling risks, timelines and budgets in the GCC/Middle

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT project management experience with SAP focus.
• 8+ years leading large-scale SAP implementations (S/4HANA preferred).
• SAP Activate certification and PMP/PRINCE2 are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client-side PMO and program governance for the SAP rollout.
• Apply SAP Activate across Explore, Realize, Deploy and Run phases.
• Manage co-existence between Oracle EBS and SAP and monitor risks/timelines.
• Track vendor accountability, SLAs, scope changes and budget variances.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Governance Lead the client-side PMO for the group-wide SAP rollout acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the SI
• Methodology Execution Apply SAP Activate across Explore Realize Deploy and Run phases
• Co-existence Management Manage risks timelines and dependencies during a the parallel run of legacy Oracle EBS and SAP
• Vendor Accountability Track SI deliverables SLAs scope changes budget variances and quality gates

Requirements

• Experience: 12+ years in IT Project Management, with 8+ years leading large-scale SAP implementations (S/4HANA preferred).
• Migration Expertise: Proven track record in complex migrations from Oracle EBS to SAP environments.
• Certifications: SAP Professional Certifications are a MUST (along with mandatory PMP / PRINCE2 and SAP Activate certification).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and conflict resolution expertise within the GCC / Middle East market.
