Job summary

Inflexion, a SAP Gold Partner in the UAE, seeks a Chief Accountant to lead accounting operations and IFRS compliance, with strong ERP experience, preferably SAP. The role emphasizes statutory reporting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and robust financial controls.

The successful candidate will manage month-end close, payroll, cash flow, and financial planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA).
• 8–12 years progressive accounting experience; 3–5 years in senior role.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting experience.
• Experience with UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• ERP experience, SAP S/4HANA or SAP Business One a plus.
• Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and bank reconciliation.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and statutory reporting.
• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Lead payroll processing and ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard assets.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with HR, PMO, Sales, Procurement, and Operations.
