Job summary

Atlas Copco in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to drive sales of API610 pumps and related gear systems. You will lead technical engagements with EPCs and end users, uncover business needs through discovery, and craft solutions that meet customer requirements.

Remote and on-site demos, workshops, and POCs form part of the role. You should have 5–7 years in technical sales, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and a proven record of exceeding targets in MENA & CIS.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in a technical sales capacity.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven track record of exceeding booking targets with EPCs, End Users and operators in MENA & CIS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft crisp technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales engagements with EPCs, End Users, and strategic accounts throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct in-depth discovery to uncover business pain points and technical constraints.
• Architect and present tailored solutions aligning product capabilities with customer needs.
• Deliver product demos, workshops, POCs, and evaluations on-site or remotely.
• Collaborate with Reps to develop proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and negotiate terms.
• Handle objections and competitive positioning with data-backed arguments.
• Maintain product and industry expertise and contribute to quarterly reviews.
• Forecast and maintain opportunity hygiene in CRM and reporting.
