The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for generating leads, liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors, presenting solutions, and delivering product demonstrations in collaboration with the sales team. The role involves gathering and validating technical requirements, responding to RFIs and RFPs with techno-commercial proposals, engaging in negotiations, and closing deals.

Responsibilities :

  • Generating leads and building rapport with clients.
  • Preparing sales forecasts and working towards sales targets.
  • Creating and delivering effective presentations, product demonstrations, and technical support during the sales cycle.
  • Engaging internal resources such as sales, product management, and marketing to close opportunities.
  • Engaging with suppliers and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Handling sales calls and technical inquiries.
  • Qualifying opportunities by validating technical requirements and recommending suitable products.
  • Following up with prospective customers during the evaluation phase.
  • Reviewing RFIs and RFPs and preparing techno-commercial proposals.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the data center industry, with a strong background in selling products and / or integrated solutions.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including racks, accessories, and DCIM solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and familiarity with AI tools for sales and client management.
  • Education :

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
