Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, loss prevention, engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years HSE experience on infrastructure projects.
• Direct experience with microtunnelling, pipe jacking or trenchless technology preferred.
• NEBOSH / ISO health and safety training or certification preferred.
• UAE health and safety training and driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE policy and project safety plan.
• Monitor contractor safety performance against objectives.
• Review risk assessments and method statements for critical activities.
• Inspect microtunnelling, pipe jacking, trenchless work areas.
• Report unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions.
• Conduct routine HSE site visits and document findings.
• Review safety statistics and incident data.
• Organize monthly safety meetings and track actions.
• Assess permit-to-work controls and toolbox talks.
• Review incident investigations and share lessons learned.
• Recommend safety improvements to raise performance.
• Undertake additional safety tasks as needed.
