STAR SERVICES LLC is seeking a Senior Roll, Stand & Guide Fitter in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading shift teams, planning daily activities, and ensuring safe operations within the Roll Shop. You will handle responsibilities such as conducting toolbox talks, managing roll builds, and maintaining high health and safety standards. The ideal candidate must have an Industrial Bachelor Degree and at least 5 years of experience in a roll shop environment. A commitment to safety and operational excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy/medium/light section mill roll shop.
• Ability to manage procurement of guides and equipment.
• Active participation in shop floor activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Roll Shop shift teams and plan daily activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure smooth handovers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and safety.
• Monitor product quality and report defects.

Skills

Expertise in roll build procedures

Strong technical knowledge of section mill

Strong planning and coordination skills

Ability to operate jib and overhead cranes safely

High attention to detail

Flexible for 24/7 shift work

Education
