Turner & Townsend in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead risk management across our Energy & Natural Resources operations. You will develop and implement enterprise-wide frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance while embedding risk awareness into business processes.

With 10–15 years in mining, oil & gas, power, energy or utilities, you will identify, assess and mitigate complex risks, drive mitigation programs, and collaborate with regulators, insurers and external risk

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of professional experience in risk management within the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in mining, oil & gas, power, energy, or utilities industries.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and policies.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements specific to E&NR operations.
• Experience managing operational, financial, and strategic risks in complex, multinational environments.
• Track record of successfully leading risk mitigation initiatives and managing crisis situations.
• Exceptional attention to detail in risk identification and assessment.
• Strong decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Strategic planning and organizational skills.
• Certification in risk management (ISO 31000, COSO, or equivalent).
• Experience with risk management software and data analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management strategies aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and analyze operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks across all business units.
• Design and execute risk mitigation plans to minimize organizational exposure and ensure business continuity.
• Establish and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks compliant with industry standards and local regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to integrate risk management into business processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure organizational compliance and competitive positioning.
• Lead risk management training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, insurers, and third-party risk consultants.
• Oversee incident investigation and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive risk management frameworks across our Energy & Natural Resources operations.
