Job summary

ACC Group is seeking an experienced Rigging Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise rigging, lifting and material handling for Oil & Gas construction projects. You will ensure lifting operations comply with lifting plans, project specs, international standards, and HSE requirements.

You will work with construction teams, crane operators, HSE, clients, and inspectors to support timely and safe project execution, including preparing lifting plans and supervising crews on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations on Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience preparing lifting plans and rigging calculations.
• Strong knowledge of cranes, lifting accessories, safe working loads and load charts.
• Familiarity with international lifting and rigging standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and supervise rigging, lifting, and transportation activities for structures, vessels, equipment, and piping spools.
• Prepare and review lifting plans, lifting studies, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Coordinate with Construction, Planning, HSE, QA/QC teams to align lifting with schedules.
• Supervise rigging crews and coordinate daily lifting activities on site.
• Ensure PTW requirements are obtained and complied with for all lifting operations.
