Job summary

Worley is seeking a highly experienced Rigging & Lifting Specialist for complex lifting operations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will review lifting plans, provide technical input for critical lifts, and verify crane configurations and rigging arrangements to ensure compliance with ADNOC requirements and international standards.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, including offshore and mega-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve lifting plans, rigging studies, method statements, risk assessments, and lifting procedures.
• Provide input for critical and heavy lifts, engineered lifts, and complex operations.
• Review crane selection, configurations, load charts, radii and grounding conditions.
• Verify load weight, COG, sling angles, tensions, and rigging arrangements.
• Ensure certification, inspection status and third-party certificates are valid for lifting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC codes, UAE regulations, project procedures and international standards.
