Job summary

9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Civil Engineering Leader with 15–20 years of construction and site supervision experience to drive project delivery and QA/QC compliance on complex sites.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status as an advantage, strong FIDIC contract knowledge, and deep understanding of local regulations and safety standards. You will coordinate multiple stakeholders and mentor a project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 15–20 years of relevant construction and site supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and local authority regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and HSE requirements.
• Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) Unlimited License is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract, contract administration, claims management, and project delivery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire project on-site and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress, quality issues, and safety.
• Issue site instructions, NCRs, and progress certifications.
• Chair weekly site progress meetings and review contractor reports.
• Coordinate among disciplines and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor and manage project team members and assign responsibilities.
• Assess changes impact and assist in permit/NOC processes.
