Job summary

TRACTEBEL in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Resident Engineer Civil to oversee the Civil engineering portfolio of a 400kV transmission lines project. The role includes site supervision, HSE oversight and coordination with the client TRANSCO and other interfaces.

The candidate will ensure construction follows approved designs, supervise inspections, plan activities and verify quantities at closeout. A strong UAE Civil background and experience with Transco/ADDC/DEWA are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of UAE Civil Engineering experience.
• BE in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience with Transco, ADDC, DEWA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage Civil Engineering portfolio of the 400kV Transmission lines project including technical, HSE and financial performance.
• Site supervision/management of complex technical works for the Client (TRANSCO) and management of customer interfaces.
• Monitor that construction strictly follows approved design, reporting and clearance of non-conformance.
• Planning, organizing, and supervision of engineering and construction inspection activities.
• Closeout and verification of installed quantities.
