TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A DUBAI BRANCH is seeking a Resident Engineer Electrical OHL to lead site supervision of 400kV/220kV/132kV overhead transmission line projects in the UAE, ensuring technical compliance, safety and timely delivery.

The role requires extensive EHV/HV experience, strong leadership of supervision teams, and coordination with UAE utilities and clients, with focus on QA, HSE, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years in Resident Engineer site leadership roles
• Experience with 400kV/220kV/132kV transmission line projects in UAE
• Experience with UAE utilities such as Abu Dhabi Transmission & Despatch Company, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical engineering activities for overhead transmission line projects
• Oversee site supervision teams and contractor execution activities
• Ensure project delivery meets schedule budget and quality targets
• Review and monitor contractor construction programs and resources
• Ensure construction activities comply with IFC drawings, specifications and standards
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings and method statements
• Supervise tower foundations, erection, conductor stringing, and OPGW installation
• Ensure compliance with Inspection Test Plans and QA documentation
• Monitor contractor safety performance and conduct site safety inspections
• Interface with clients, contractors, consultants and utility authorities
• Review and certify contractor progress claims and variations
• Supervise testing and commissioning activities and support handover
