Job description

The Role : This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as Senior Reporter, Middle East Energy. As a Senior Reporter, you will participate actively in sourcing, confirming, and writing exclusive news about project finance and acquisition finance transactions. Produce content daily. Build relationships with LPs, GPs, banks, developers, advisors, and SWFs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Write 15 pieces of proprietary content per month on the Middle East renewables, and power & energy markets
• Actively track transactions and source intelligence on new transactions
• Coordinate with Infralogic colleagues, as well as DW and MM teams for cross-product coverage
• Cover greenfield and M&A financing, as well as project finance in capital markets
• Write at least one feature article (1,200 words) every other month
• Plan and record a podcast quarterly to increase engagement

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience :

• Knowledge of financial markets with a proven record of reporting exclusives
• At least six years of reporting experience in reputable newsrooms with global exposure
• Proven ability to break news and write in-depth analyses
• Ability to spot market trends and conduct research for reports
• Established network of sources for reporting
• Strong news and analysis writing skills
