Job summary

Aster DM Healthcare is seeking a senior nurse leader to oversee clinical care in our Dubai OPD clinics. You will supervise Registered and assistant nurses, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a BSN and DHA license eligibility, with preferred Masters and ACLS/BLS certifications. You will coordinate patient assessments, treatments, and emergency responses while upholding infection control and patient safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
• Valid DHA Registered Nurse License or Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with evidence-based practices and organizational policies.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, and social evaluation.
• Monitor, record, and report patients' conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, intravenous therapies, and treatments safely and accurately.
• Assist physicians during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care.
• Recognize and respond promptly to emergencies, clinical deterioration, and adverse patient events.
• Maintain patient safety standards at all times.
• Act as the designated senior nurse within assigned OPD clinics.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to Registered Nurses, Assistant Nurses, and support staff.
• Support staff competency development through coaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision.
• Participate in orientation and onboarding of newly hired nursing staff.
• Monitor nursing practices to ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
