Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Red Team Consultant to lead teams in offensive assessments against modern environments. You will coordinate with leadership, plan and oversee assessments, and help mature customers' security postures using MITRE ATT&CK-aligned methods.

You will mentor junior staff, develop clear executive-ready reporting, and apply advanced toolsets to simulate threats while advancing CrowdStrike's services across diverse industries. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Red Team/Penetration Testing (highly preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (highly preferred).
• Active involvement in security communities (speaking, tooling, contributions) is highly preferred.
• Advanced experience with Security Assessment Toolsets (Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Burp Suite).
• Strong understanding of security methodologies, technologies and best practices.
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mac; Networking components; Firewalls, proxies, mail and web servers.
• Advanced experience with Red Teaming and adversary emulation; automation and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary contact for coordinating Red Team activities and leading all penetration testing engagements.
• Develop reporting including mitigations for management and technical audiences.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams.
• Organize resources to perform penetration assessments of OS, applications, databases and network components to detect threats.
• Lead and mentor red team members and contribute to the security program.
• Provide guidance during enterprise-wide crisis scenarios and outages.
• Operate as both an engineer and project manager on various engagements.
