Job summary

Finera in Dubai is seeking a Senior Reconciliation Officer to oversee reconciliation across payment gateways, processors, and internal records to ensure financial accuracy and settlement transparency. You will partner with Finance, BI, Treasury, and Operations to strengthen frameworks and drive automation.

The role requires a strong eye for detail, advanced Excel skills, and experience with fintech environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
4-5 years of experience in reconciliation, payments operations, or financial operations.
Experience in fintech, payment acquiring, or digital asset environments.

Responsibilities

Perform daily reconciliation of payment transactions across multiple data sources.
Conduct 3-way reconciliations between gateway data, processor reports, and internal ledger.
Ensure transaction statuses and settlement values match across systems.
Investigate discrepancies related to transactions, refunds, chargebacks, and processor fees.
Review processor statements against data to validate MDR, settlement and crypto/FX fees.
Produce daily and monthly reconciliation reports and develop exception reporting.
Collaborate with BI to enhance automated reconciliation dashboards.
Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation workflows and controls.
