Job summary

EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a Principle Engineer-Radar System to lead design, integration and qualification of radar seeker systems for airborne and precision-guided applications. You will oversee RF/microwave front-ends, antennas, and signal processing while guiding engineering teams.

The role requires deep radar theory knowledge, 15+ years in RF/Radar and strong leadership capabilities, with hands-on use of MATLAB/Simulink, CST/HFSS and Microwave Office for advanced development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of RF and Radar engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of technical leadership or management experience.
• Advanced expertise in radar theory, RF/microwave design, antennas and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of radar seeker systems across RF/microwave, antennas and subsystems.
• Develop and optimise radar signal processing algorithms for target acquisition, tracking and classification.
• Lead system integration, ground and flight testing, verification and qualification.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and mentoring of engineers.
