Job summary

EDGE is seeking an experienced Radar Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and field deployment of advanced radar and EW systems. You will apply strong RF and radar engineering expertise to diagnose faults and drive performance improvements to ensure readiness in challenging environments.

As a leader, you will manage technicians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and traceability of all testing and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hardware and software engineering experience in radar/EW.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of RF principles and radar theory.
• Proficiency with CST, AWR, or ANSYS HFSS.
• Experience with RF testing equipment (spectrum analysers, network analysers, oscilloscopes).
• Experience with radar systems such as phased-array, pulse-Doppler, or SAR.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, hardware testing, and fault diagnosis.
• Lead fault-finding and RCFA for radar anomalies.
• Manage a team of technicians and junior engineers.
• Coordinate with procurement and repair centers to manage spares and inventory.
• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead field deployment for qualification and data gathering.
• Collaborate with system engineers, mechanical engineers, software teams and algorithms specialists to ensure system availability.
• Document testing processes and results with traceability.
• Identify risks during maintenance and propose mitigation strategies.
• Keep up to date with RF and radar technologies and industry trends.
