Job summary

Rakhat Construction in Ras Al Khaimah seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, BOQs, tendering, contract administration, and project cost control for our civil and real estate projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, UAE experience, and Dubai Municipality approval for G+4 projects. Strong knowledge of FIDIC and pre/post-contract QS is required, with on-site work in Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Dubai Municipality-approved G+4 approval is mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a QS in UAE building projects.
Experience with low-rise building construction and pre/post-contract QS.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and tendering procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Review drawings and specifications to determine material, labor, and subcontractor requirements.
Carry out feasibility studies, cost advice, and budget estimates during pre-contract stages.
Prepare tender inquiries and evaluate quotations; produce tender-analysis reports.
Negotiate rates and terms with subcontractors; manage subcontracts and variation orders.
