Job summary

Al Marwan Developments seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for road and infrastructure projects across the UAE. You will oversee cost and value management, contract administration, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

UAE experience is highly preferred, but strong candidates outside the UAE may also be considered. Join a diversified group with a strong regional presence, working with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial success and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, UAE infrastructure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and UAE contract laws.
• Proficient in CCS, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project budgets, cost/value control systems, and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports for Senior Management.
• Coordinate with Client QS and Consultant QS.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
• Administer contracts per FIDIC Red/Yellow Book and local laws.
• Identify variations, new rates, and change orders.
• Contribute to project risk management and financial performance.
• Support in claims, disputes, and contractual issues defense.
• Conduct detailed measurements for final accounts and cost verification.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior QS team members as required.
