Job summary

ABU ALNAGA CONTRACTING is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a high-rise building project. The role focuses on managing commercial and contractual aspects, preparing BOQs and cost estimates, and monitoring budgets and cash flow.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field and at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in high-rise developments. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong experience in BOQ, quantity take-off, valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow.
• Prepare and review interim payment applications and valuations.
• Manage subcontractor payments, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed works.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Identify potential cost impacts and provide commercial recommendation.
