Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for large-scale electrical power transmission projects from initial estimates to final accounts.

You will develop and review BoQ and tender documents, negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and oversee variation valuations with robust cost justifications and documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• MRICS or equivalent certification desirable.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in electrical power transmission and distribution.
• Experience with high-voltage substations, transmission lines, or related infrastructure projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost management for large-scale electrical power transmission projects from initial estimates to final account settlement.
• Develop and review complex BoQ and tender documents for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and minimize risks.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the cost management process for large-scale electrical power transmission projects from initial estimates to final account settlement
• Develop and meticulously review complex bills of quantities BoQ and tender documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers ensuring favorable terms and minimizing commercial risks
• Oversee the valuation of variations claims and change orders providing robust cost justifications and supporting documentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.
• Professional certification such as MRICS (Quantity Surveying & Construction) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience specifically within the electrical power transmission and distribution sector.
• Proven track record in managing costs for high-voltage substations, transmission lines, or related infrastructure projects.
