DESCON ENGINEERING UAE BU seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong E&I focus to oversee cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for EI packages on large-scale industrial projects in Abu Dhabi. You will cost materials, labor, and equipment to ensure profitability and manage cost variances.

With 10+ years of EI experience and a solid track record in oil & gas or power gen projects, you will prepare BoQs and specifications, and negotiate terms with suppliers.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong EI focus.
• Proven track record in large-scale industrial, oil & gas, or power generation EI construction projects.
• MRICS/MCIOB qualification is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately estimate and cost E&I works including materials, labor, and equipment for profitability.
• Prepare and manage tender documentation (BoQs and specs) for EI packages.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for EI services and materials.

• Accurately estimate and cost electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works, including materials, labor, and equipment, to ensure project profitability.
• Prepare and manage tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and specifications, for E&I packages, ensuring competitive and fair pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for E&I services and materials, securing best value and favorable contract terms.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the E&I construction phase, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a significant focus on E&I projects.
• Proven track record in large-scale industrial, oil & gas, or power generation E&I construction projects.
