Job summary

Royal International Construction in Dubai seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, contracts, and commercial activities across the project lifecycle. You will ensure cost efficiency, prepare BOQ, and supervise cost reporting while mentoring junior team members.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a related degree, and strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts. MS Excel proficiency and excellent analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent construction contracts.
• Strong skills in cost control, estimation, contract administration, negotiation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and relevant Quantity Surveying software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQ, budgets, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance against budgets.
• Manage and review construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, claims, and variations.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and advise on financial impact of design changes.
• Verify contractor/subcontractor invoices, quantities, and payment applications.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quantities, and costs.
• Identify commercial/cost risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Lead, support, and mentor Quantity Surveyors with Project Managers and Engineers.
