Job summary

Careers International is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, contracts, and financial control for civil projects in Dubai. You will prepare detailed estimates, manage budgets, and ensure contractual compliance while coordinating with clients and site teams.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of QS experience in civil contracting, with strong skills in FIDIC, CostX, Primavera P6, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 8–12 years of experience as a QS in a civil contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, cost control, and claims management.
• Experience in high-rise buildings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs from drawings and specs.
• Review contracts and tender documents for risks and compliance.
• Submit monthly interim payment applications to clients.
• Evaluate subcontractor invoices and certify payments.
• Identify variations and prepare claims for delays or changes.
• Monitor costs and provide periodic financial reports.
