Job summary

Duru Compliance is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Dubai operations to manage post-contract QS functions, pricing, and valuations in line with contract drawings and specifications. You will advise on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are complete and accurate.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of GCC experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD. You will work with management to coordinate resources and ensure timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying; essential.
• Minimum 10 years' GCC country experience in pre and post-contract administration.
• Excellent written and spoken English; communication with management and staff.
• Knowledge of contract administration processes and valuation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and price using contract drawings, specs, and Bills of Quantities.
• Handle post-contract QS functions including interim and final payments.
• Advise on contractual matters and ensure completeness of requirements.
• Advise on Contractors resource allocation and audit payments to contractors.
• Ensure timely submittals and completeness of valuations; prepare financial statements.

• Responsible for accurately measuring and pricing using Contract drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• To handle all post-contract QS functions such as handling of Interim and final payments
• Advise on contractual matters
• Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements
• Advice on Contractors resource allocation
• Audit payments to Contractors
• Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations
• Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements
• Coordinate and monitor activities of his team
• Prepare financial statement for monthly reports
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum Experience of 10 years in GCC country
• Knowledge of pre and post contract administration
• Good in oral and written communication
• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently
