Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs
• Cost estimates for civil and building works, with a focus on multi-storey buildings
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify and quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements
• Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to gather pricing and cost information
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost databases and cost models
• Evaluate and compare quotations and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to project management
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in bid submissions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations
• Stay updated on industry trends and construction cost fluctuations
• Collaborate with other departments to support project goals and objectives
• Handle any other quantity surveying-related tasks as assigned
